Mr. Sam - Lyteo

Tuesday, May 2nd, 2006

LyteoFrom an early age, Sam had no escape from his parents own musically mixed cocktails of Giorgio Moroder, Klaus Schulz combined with a dash of Elvis Presley. Through this heavy involuntary dose of electronically initiated influence, he developed an early fascination for squelchy synthesizer sounds and after buying his first Depeche Mode single, he was firmly hooked. But it seemed like from here to eternity before he was to pick up his own musical instrument.

Finally, today Mr. Sam brings us some of his unique vibes for us to listen. His new album called ‘Lyteo’ will be released sometime this month, May 2006. There’s no specific date available so make sure you keep your eyes open!

Luke Chable & Kosmas Epsilon - Addicted

Monday, April 24th, 2006

AddictedLuke Chable remixed the Platipus classic ‘2 Full Moons & A Trout’ 2006 and it was through this meeting, that Platipus discovered his ‘dependency’ towards the label & how it shaped him as a DJ. Likewise with Kosmas Epsilon (who also remixed ‘2 Full Moons…’ on spec.) shared his ‘compulsive’ collecting of all things Platipus, back in the day.

Kosmas’s first ever release was a bootleg remix of FC Kahuna’s ‘Hayling’ (Loaded). Charted by James Holden & included in his Balance compilation, Sasha’s Fundacion followed, then Nick Warren’s GU album Shanghai, and four tracks feature on Dave Seaman’s This Is Audio Therapy - a massive coup & compliment for any producer.

This new release called ‘Addicted’ (Consists of a double CD) which is mixed by both these DJs, Luke Chable and Kosmas Espsilon will be released and available to the public on 3 June 2006.

Binary Finary - The Lost Tracks

Friday, April 14th, 2006

The Lost TracksWith dance music currently overwhelmed by house music, there is extremely good news for the trance scene. Binary Finary return with their long awaited artist album The Lost Tracks.

The Lost Tracks is an album that takes a journey through trance, electronica and progressive sounds. These tracks have never been heard before and some are still in the old skool state in which they were first created. The album marks Binary Finary’s historical and emotional journey, from their time in hiding, to their re-emergence as producers to be reckoned with.

This album is upfront and available as download only. It comes in both mixed and unmixed formats for the die-hard clubber and digital DJ alike. There is also the choice to download selected tracks from the album - something no other artist is doing. One of the most exciting tracks on the album has to be the Binary Finality Mix of the seminal classic ‘1998’ - never heard before and a fitting update of this amazing track!
