Fuck Me I’m Famous - International
Friday, June 16th, 2006
David Guetta presents another international mix, across 2 CDs from one of the worlds most decadent and fabulous parties. With a launch party @ Café de Paris in London, 4 exclusive parties in Ibiza, and numerous parties across Italy, the rest of Europe and America, this edition is truly international.
Having sold over a million records in Europe and France alone, Guetta scored a massive hit in the UK with ‘Just A Little More Love,’ then took clubs world-wide by storm with ‘The World Is Mine.’ But there’s one key phrase that sums up David and his glittering Fuck Me I’m Famous brand – and that’s Guetta fabulous. If you’ll excuse the pun of course. The perfect fusion of David’s passion for music and Cathy Guetta’s glamorous friends meeting cool and passionate clubbers help make every guest and every party feel utterly unique. There’s always a show in the DJ booth and further spectacles to be taken in on the dance floor.
James Talk grew up on a staple diet of rave and acid house, and from an early age was allured by the acid basslines pumping their way through the sky every weekend from nearby fields and warehouses into his bedroom. He soon realised that dance legends such as Prodigy and Underworld were of more interest to him than any Charles Dickens novel. This fascination in rave culture culminated in him buying his first set of decks at the tender age of 14, and his first gig at a youth club shortly followed. These early steps helped him to pave the way to the unique style and sound that he has today…
Despite having only just turned 25 Eddie Halliwell is now firmly established as one of the most exciting new DJ’s in the world having just been Voted 25th in the 2004 DJ Mag Top 100 Poll. Unbelievably passionate about music he infects the crowd with his energy, captivating them with his highly visual performances and jaw dropping turntable trickery.
Renaissance continues to impress us with more upcoming releases. After the first part of this album sold over 250,00 copies, Renaissance returns with The Classics Part 2.
Renaissance presents the eagerly anticipated third volume of The Sound Of Renaissance, which comes direct from the island of Ibiza. The mix features two discs that mirror the moods of the island: ‘Beach’ takes its inspiration from the famed chilled, Balearic vibe, whilst ‘Club’ draws on the latest dancefloor tracks to provide an upfront mix that encapsulates the spirit of Renaissance’s forthcoming Summer residence at Pacha.
It’s hard to nail down just a few tracks as so many of these are huge club moments and have been supported by many of the worlds top DJs. There are some real exclusives however, such as ‘Reflections’, ‘Tomorrow Never Comes’ and ‘Hold Me Till The End’ from the forthcoming DT8 Project album ‘Perfect World’.
After the success of the first volume of Spindrive, Spin Twist Records are releasing the second volume to this amazing trance compilation featuring artists such as: Visua & Odiseo (Mexico), Monotron (Brazil), Symphonix and Vaishiyas.
Clubbers Guide Summer 2006 soaks up the spring time heat to bring a red hot package for the summer, rammed with red hot House tracks set to turn the dance floors crazy on those wild hot summer nights.
